API
REST API for customers with an active paid plan: create, edit, list and download dynamic QRs and read their scan counts from kiosks, supermarkets and checkouts. QRs created through the API carry the logo and colors of your account default design. Limit: 60 requests per minute per key.
Security and trust
Google Safe Browsing
Every link is checked with Google Safe Browsing when created or edited, and saved links are checked again every week. Malicious links (phishing, malware, unwanted software) are blocked or disabled.
Abuse reports
Every redirect has a report button; an administrator disables whatever is reported.
2FA and passkeys
Protect your account with two-factor authentication (2FA) or a passkey; Google sign-in is also available.
FAQ
Do I need an account to create a code?
No. On the home page you choose QR or barcode and it is generated without sign-up, with a short queue: 1 per minute shared by all anonymous users, the same for both types.
Static vs dynamic?
A static code encodes the direct link, never touches our servers, cannot be edited and never expires. A dynamic one points to qr4u.cloud/code: you can edit the destination without reprinting and it counts scans.
How many can I create?
A free account gets up to 25 active dynamic codes, QR and barcodes combined, and unlimited static ones. With an active paid plan everything is unlimited. If the plan lapses you keep what you created but cannot create dynamic codes above the free limit.
Do codes expire?
Static ones never do. Free dynamic ones expire after 1 year without scans; with the paid plan they never expire.
How much is the paid plan?
It depends on the country: ARS 15,000 + VAT in Argentina and USD 10 elsewhere, per year, in one payment. Use the country selector in the header to see your price.
Who is the charge from?
qr4u.cloud is a WPClinic and TeraServer service: with MercadoPago (Argentina) the charge appears under the name TeraServer; with Dodo (rest of the world), under the name WPClinic.
Which formats can I download?
PNG and SVG, for both QR codes and barcodes.
Can I add my logo?
Yes, on the paid plan: logo and custom colors on QR codes and on barcodes. On a barcode the logo is centered over the bars with its own background, takes at most half the height and never the white margin, so the scanner line crosses every bar. Laser scanners that aim at the center may need to be tilted slightly.
Is there an API?
Yes, for paid-plan customers: 60 requests per minute, built for kiosks, supermarkets and checkouts. It accepts kind (qr or barcode) and mode (dynamic or static).
How do I protect my account?
With email and password, two-factor authentication (2FA), passkeys, or by signing in with Google.
